@flavoroftheweek on her 1988 Schwinn World Sport. Her parents had men’s and ladie’s World Sports that they hadn’t ridden since Katie was born. We got new tubs and tires, hand polished each spoke with metal polish, and thoroughly cleaned everything. They ride perfectly. Smooth, fast, solid. Schwinn made such pro bikes back in the day. American Judo Illustrated (1943) A friend bought me this a few years back at an old bookstore in Madison, NJ. Inside is a short story and dialogue between a soldier and his drill seargents teaching Judo. It shows the growing concerns Americans had as tensions rose with Japan. This book served as a training guide although, as history tells, not much martial arts came into play as we fought Japan during World War II.
She found it in her grandparents attic and we think it still works!
