American Judo Illustrated (1943) A friend bought me this a few years back at an old bookstore in Madison, NJ. Inside is a short story and dialogue between a soldier and his drill seargents teaching Judo. It shows the growing concerns Americans had as tensions rose with Japan. This book served as a training guide although, as history tells, not much martial arts came into play as we fought Japan during World War II.
